It was very important for us to create design systems that allow the editorial teams to have freedom to tell stories with no layout constraints. For example, I designed a modular system in the back end in which the editorial could choose the templates that best communicate the editorial content.

Redesign Results
Our approuch was to first get a deeper understanding ofour target demographic and psychographic. This information shaped all the effors and strategy. By understanding the market attribute we were abot to shape the brand personality. Our focus was to create solution that millenial moms find valuable.
Else, all our solutions have to align with the company value, mission and future goals.

METRICS AND LEARNING
Redesign Learnings and Results
Research
With the help of the analytic department we were able to know what sections were most visited by users and their behavioral patterns. Also, we interviewed people, created personas. By learning what was working and what was not, it allowed us to make more informed design decisions that resulted in a traffic increase.
Analysis
The deep research allowed a better understanding of the different challenges we were facing. In the analysis, we looked at user behavioral patterns, user retention, page views, site engagement recirculation, and shareability. We gathered all the information and determined the best approach to improve the experience.
Visual Design
After having a better understanding and a plan in place we started prototyping the experiences. The visual design was informed by the way the user was using the application and visual preferences. For example, if we want to highlight a button or any other element we first tested on a high fidelity prototype.
Production
The learning and the improvements continue after the website was launched. We continue making updates and improvements based on the analytics.
